Nowel Lucas - President
Nowel is a senior at UH Hilo and is set to graduate Spring 2022 with a Bachelor of Art in Art. She is a children's book author and illustrator and runs an art and literary based publishing and web-marketing subscription service.

Lisa Hiraishi -
Vice-President
Lisa is an international student attending UH Hilo from Japan. She is a senior set to graduate Spring 2022 with a Bachelor of Arts in Art.
Cherysh White
Secretary
Cherysh is a creative dynamo whose work includes a variety of mediums. She is a junior at UH Hilo working to get her Bachelor of Arts in Art.
Sabina Boo-Rivera - Treasurer
Sabina Boo-Rivera graduated from Keaau high school and is pursuing a bachelor's degree in Psychology at UH Hilo. She loves her island home and community. She is currently participating in an exchange program to Texas A&M university for a semester. After her extensive family travels, she has concluded the Big Island is the best place in the world. In her free time, she likes to dabble in arts and crafts, work out with friends, and spend time with her family.

Sasha Kovacs -
Board Member
Phoebe is a senior at the University of Hawai'i at Hilo and was born and raised in the islands. She gains inspiration from the beauty and memories invoked by her island home and creates unique art that encapsulates her life and culture. Wife and mother of 5 wonderful boys; she enjoys taking photographs, drawing, and painting.
Sasha is a talented painter and Graduate student of Chemistry at the University of Hawaii at Hilo and Manoa. She has a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry.
Professor Jonathon Goebel -
Faculty Advisor
Jon Goebel is an avid printmaker-artist known for his symbolically charged artworks. He received his MFA in Printmaking from Texas Tech University and serves as Associate Professor of Art at the University of Hawaii Hilo. He has shown in over 150 exhibitions across the United States and abroad including Portugal, Mexico, China, Bulgaria, Argentina, Spain, South Korea, Canada, India, and Puerto Rico. Jon has also taught numerous color intaglio workshops across the Country and in China.
Professor Michael Marshall -
Faculty Advisor
Michael Marshall is a professor of art and chair of the art department at University of Hawai'i at Hilo. He arrived at the university in 1984 and is a master painter and print maker. He is fully engaged in teaching his students, building and expanding the UH Hilo art department, and bringing visiting artists to campus. He also enriches the local art community with educational and cultural programs of his own creation, in addition to creating his own art.

Victoria Arthur
President
Victoria Arthur was a longtime forest service worker who went back to school to pursue her passion for the Arts. Known for her energetic impasto brushstrokes she graduated with a Bachelor of Art in 2020 and is currently attending graduate school in New York.
Kawelina Cruz
Vice President
Kawe is the winner of the 2021 juried student art show's first prize award and a valued alumni having graduated from the University of Hawai'i at Hilo with a Bachelor of Art degree in the same year.
Nowel Lucas
Secretary
Nowel is currently a junior at UH Hilo double majoring in Art & Biology Biomedical Science. She is a mother and is homeschooling her children during the Covid-19 pandemic in addition to attending University.
